David A. Detec practices mainly in the firm’s Oil and Gas Law, Business Law, Healthcare Law, Banking, Bankruptcy Law and Real Estate Law sections. Mr. Detec’s clients include financial institutions and public and private businesses. He counsels clients in all aspects of oil and gas law and development matters and drafts contracts covering business formations and corporate succession plans, handles business relationship disputes and litigation, has assisted in the purchase and sale of many businesses and provides general business advice. His experience in federal issues includes anti-trust, securities and tax issues. Mr. Detec practiced with a major Trumbull County law firm prior to joining Manchester, Bennett, Powers & Ullman in 2000.
Mr. Detec is an agent of Commerce Title Agency of Youngstown, LLC, a full-service real estate title agency owned by the firm. Commerce Title Agency provides title, closing and escrow services for residential and commercial real estate transactions, including IRS Section 1031 Exchanges, in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties.
